The HMS Bulwark Association was founded in 1979 in Portsmouth. Subsequent years saw the HMS Albion & HMS Centaur Associations joining forces & amalgamated as named after the 3 carriers.

We welcome all previous ships company & attached personnel from the former ships. People with an interest in our ships can apply to join as associate members. Our premier event is the annual Reunion/AGM Weekend which is usually held around early May. In recent years our venues have been Hartlepool, Portsmouth, Weston-super-Mare, East Wittering, Blackpool, Market Bosworth,  Southport, Plymouth, Scarborough, Prestatyn & Sunderland.

The venue for the 2027 Reunion/AGM is the Maritime Hotel, Portsmouth. The committee would be delighted to see you there. See the appropriate page for full details.

Past events have included sea trips on our former ships HMS Albion (L14) & HMS Bulwark (L15). Some anniversary events, a week in Malta & of course Trafalgar Night Dinners.

We sponsor Sea Cadets from our affiliated SCC Units.

For those who are not former ships company etc. but have an interest in the association we offer associate membership. This infers full voting rights but not as a full member.​

 An R08 journal is produced 3 times a year for paid up members who are asked to contribute with relevant material.
